The ElevateHER Women's Empowerment Summit is for attendees to connect directly with influential women in all sectors of the Johnston County business community and beyond.

This is a networking, relationship-building, and leadership opportunity for women who work to make Johnston County and the neighboring communities better. It targets businesswomen, non-profit volunteers, committee members, female elected officials, and special guests. This event is a celebration of community engagement for women who have given their time and expertise to grow local businesses and companies and expand leadership capacity in our region. Nikki Bodie attended Clemson University where she graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science. While attending Clemson she joined the Clemson Flying Club, which changed her life. She then moved to Daytona Beach, Florida where she completed her flight ratings and MBA at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. After several entry-level flying jobs, she joined the Air Force Reserve to fly aerial refueling tankers at Seymour Johnson AFB. She is now a USAF Reserve pilot and a pilot at American Airlines. She is also an active volunteer with various charities and a small business owner.

She’s also a member of the National Speakers Association and she volunteers as a Technology Partner for Habitat for Humanity.

​International speaker and global diversity and inclusive strategist

Sonia Aranza serves on several national boards including the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion National Board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. Sonia was honored “Outstanding Woman of the Year” by the National Association of Professional Asian American Women, named “100 Most Influential Filipina-Americans in the United States” as well as “100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World.” Sonia mentors leaders worldwide.
