The inaugural CCOC Business Solutions Summit, presented by United Community Bank, will be held virtually on April 15, 2021 8:45 AM to 3 PM. This full day online event features a variety of workshops designed to educate business owners and offer solutions for today's business challenges. The day begins with a keynote message from Google Certified Trainer, Demming Bass on how to "Reach Your Customers online with Google." After that, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in two business development seminars in the morning on the topics of "Cyber Security" and "Resiliency and Avoiding Burnout." Following the morning sessions there will be a break for a digital networking lunch break and then an additional seminar from the Grow with Google program in the afternoon on how to "Use YouTube to Drive Business Growth." Demming has been an official speaker for the Grow with Google partner program since 2017. After an award-winning career as a chamber of commerce executive in NC and GA, he led Constant Contact’s marketing efforts across six states in the Southeast. To date, he’s trained over 15,000 small businesses, nonprofits and chambers on how to be better marketers. In addition to his role with Google, Demming is also a StoryBrand Certified Guide where he works with clients around the world to improve and clarify their brand messaging strategy.
He has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 Most Notable Georgians” by Georgia Trend Magazine, one of the Top 40 Under 40 Most Influential Leaders in Georgia by both the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia Trend, and North Carolina State University Alumni Association’s Outstanding Alumni in the field of Communication and Public Relations. Rusty has a B.S. in Information Technology & Security from Campbell University and an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Wake Technical Community College. Long before his days as a security consultant and computer forensic expert at Protus3, Rusty Gilmore sought to protect and serve the people of North Carolina as an officer with the Raleigh Police Department. His tenacity for discovering leads and using deductive logic took him from cop to detective. After about nine years with the Raleigh Police Department, he decided to open his own computer business. He did repairs and network upgrades before starting work for the federal government as an IT security contractor.
Now, with Protus3, Rusty applies this same in-depth analysis while confronting breaches in computers and other electronic devices. At the same time, he counsels his clients to be proactive in protecting their data. Throughout his career, Rusty has consulted on several high profile and nationally recognized computer and technology misappropriation cases. Rusty recognizes that computer forensics has universal relevance and applications. He has given presentations, trainings, and consulting advice to a wide variety of industries, and he welcomes the opportunity to share his expertise and experience.
