The Clayton Chamber of Commerce has selected North Carolina Paper Company to be the Featured Business of the Week the week of June 14, 2010. The Company is a family-owned business founded in 1919 by Edwin Byron Haynes. It is now owned and managed by his grandson Byron Haynes. The Company was located in downtown Raleigh until 1986, when it moved to the current location in downtown Clayton, NC. Although the product lines have changed over the years, the philosophy of offering quality products at reasonable prices in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere remains the same. Byron and Joyce Haynes are committed to personal customer service and satisfaction.

The retail showroom features a large cake decorating section for beginner and professional decorators. They carry Satin Ice Rolled Fondant, Wilton cake decorating supplies, boxes, boards, cake drums, gum paste roses and flowers. They have a must see selection of cake decorating. Don't decorate, they will teach you how; sign up for Wilton Cake classes. They also carry Merckens chocolate and candy making supplies. They carry all occasion party supplies, balloons and wedding invitation.
In the wholesale warehouse, a large variety of bulk paper products are offered. They carry food service disposable paper and cleaning supplies. They can deliver locally and have sales persons that are dedicated to assist the needs of their customers.
