About Us

With over 400 members, the Clayton Chamber of Commerce is one of the fastest-growing Chambers in Johnston County. Our diverse membership includes small businesses, industries, professional firms, financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, government agencies and individuals.

 The Chamber staff works cooperatively with area businesses and local government to promote business and economic development, increase civic awareness and community involvement, and support educational opportunities throughout Clayton and the surrounding areas. We are a resource for information about Clayton, and we assist in recruiting new businesses to the area.

 The Clayton Chamber is an active organization that provides a variety of monthly events and activities designed to help members enhance their marketing efforts and increase opportunities for networking their businesses. We also provide professional development opportunities for our members throughout the year.

 Among our activities are monthly Business After Hours, Member Breakfast Exchange, Ambassadors Committee, Professional Seminars, Annual Awards Banquet, Business Expo, Harvest Festival, Golf Tournament, Clayton Christmas Parade and other special events.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce is to be the advocate for business, economic development, and education in Clayton, North Carolina and its surrounding communities.
